Nigerian Dwarf Dairy Goats

Nigerian Dwarf dairy goats came into our lives in 2009.  Soon after we met our first kids we were hooked and Twiggity Nigerian Dwarf dairy goats  was established.  We chose the Nigerian Dwarf for its sweet and docile temperament, its manageable size, and its ability to produce sweet, rich milk. The endless variety of colors and the potential for blue eyes just add to the charm of these diminutive little goats.  Our goal is to produce milk for our own use by building a healthy herd from good milking lines.

We have been milking our girls for the first time this summer and have had plenty of fresh milk and have been making yummy yogurt and have been learning to make cheese.

Our herd tested  negative for CAE, CL, Brucella, and Johne’s in March 2010.  Our goats are registered with ADGA and AGS.
